The University of Cantabria Foundation for the Study and Research of the Financial Sector (UCEIF) and The Santander Financial Institute (SANFI) are proud to host the XXVI Finance Forum, the Annual Meeting of the Spanish Finance Association (AEFIN). The Finance Forum will take place in Santander on the 5th and 6th July 2018.

The Finance Forum has become the Spanish benchmark for research in finance. Our goal is to be an international meeting point for all researchers in finance.

We are honored to announce the keynote speakers for the 26th Finance Forum:

Yacine Ait-Sahalia

Professor of Finance and Economics. Princeton University

Andrew Karolyi

Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Professor of Finance. Cornell University

The Forum will take place in Santander, at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Cantabria (Avenida de los Castros 56).

The program is open to all areas of Financial Economics research, such as: Asset valuation, Banking, Behavioral Finance, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Derivatives, Fixed Income, International Finance, Market microstructure, Risk analysis, Regulation, Portfolio management.

The Finance Forum will feature a Special Session, a PhD Consortium, where PhD students can present their research ideas and receive feedback from specialist in their research fields. Students will have a chance to discuss their research objectives with senior members of the community.

The following awards will be granted at the Conference: AEFIN Award to the Best paper of the Finance Forum, SANFI Award to the Best paper on Banking, BME Award to the best paper on Stock Markets, BME Award to the best paper on Fixed Income, BME Award to the best paper on Derivatives and CNMV Award to the best paper on Regulation.
